Your mission
We are currently looking for a ManagingConsultant with with a strong background Management to join our Professional Services team.
This role is about being the customer’s advisor and championing best practice in both backend and frontend development of Board toolkit applications. You’ll work alongside customers to architect multi-dimensional data models, create templates and actionable reports, dashboards, budgets as well as other BI and CPM applications.
As a Managing Consultant, you will be measured across 3 key areas:
- Your ability to manage People (development, leadership), Projects (communication, budgeting) and Customers (account management).
- Your consulting skills – both internal and external (simplifying complex topics, verbal and written communication skills
- Your content knowledge – either software skills as it relates to BI and CPM or alternatively experience in an industry/Line of Business - like Retail, Finance, HR.
We recognise having all 3 would be rare and therefore we are open to candidates that are strong in 2 of these areas and learning the third.
- Manage up to 4 consultants’ day-to-day workload and resource plans, as well as long term development plans
- Manage process of implementation of the BI and EPM solution from requirements and design to mentoring and overseeing delivery.
- Leading the process, from gathering requirements, through the completion of implementation, according to the project’s needs
- Managing the timelines and budget of the project for the customer
- Be responsive to customer requirements and mitigate concerns, with effective communication.
- Acquire and maintain mid-level product knowledge and skills
- Review and audit customer application
- Own and manage existing customer accounts through effective account management
- Work closely with leadership peers in other areas of the business – Sales, Product & Delivery, Marketing, etc to align on strategy and influence successful business outcomes
- Manage escalations from your direct reports and follow a methodical escalation process to Exec team
